Pop Up Safe Space

North West Kent offers safe spaces in the school and community. Way back when we came up with the ideas of (coping packs) we also thought that a pop up safe space would be an amazing idea. I think someone said ‘lets take the safe space to where the young people are’ and someone else said ‘an inflatable igloo’ and boom we had pop up safe spaces.

But where do you get an inflatable igloo from, and how on earth will we transport it?

At the meeting in January, we were finally able to demonstrate what a pop up safe space could look like. The space we have has two areas, one that will allow a one to one area, and for promoting areas activities and services and generally having a chat about what HeadStart Kent is, and providing some fun activities that everyone can be involved with.
